DC/DC converter is a switching power supply chip, which uses a controllable switch (MOSFET, etc.) to perform the high frequency switching action, storing the input electrical energy in a capacitor (inductor) . When the switch is disconnected, the electrical energy is then released to the load, to provide energy. Switching power supply can be used for step-up and step-down.
